The PADI Advanced Open Water course is designed to build confidence and give students diving experience under the supervision of experienced instructors and certified PADI assistants.

The course consists of 5 dives ran over 2 days giving students experience of different types of diving chosen from boat diving, deep diving, underwater navigation, wreck diving, drift diving, underwater photography (camera hire not included), fish identification and various underwater tasks to broaden students awareness and capabilities. The course qualifies students to dive to 30 metres and will include at least two boat dives – this then leaves the student qualified and confident to come back and dive from the boats at Porthkerris (and of course others elsewhere!) on the majority of our regular dive sites.

Entry requirements: 12 years of age (results in Junior), 15 years of age PADI Open Water diver or equivalent, be in reasonable health and able to swim.

Cost: £300 per person.

Price includes the Adventures in Diving manual, 2 boat dives, tuition, kit hire whilst in training, air and certification.

Duration: 2 days
